Womens Golf Middle East started the season off with their first event for the season at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club on Sunday 19th September.

Pauline Wallace who is improving steadily had an excellent 42 points, having 20 points on the front 9 holes and 22 points on the back nine.  She managed an excellent gross par on the stroke index 4 for a five pointer however she unfortunately had to take a penalty on the 11th, which reduced her points from 22 to 20.  Pauline ended up with 40 points, which saw her handicap, reduce by three shots.  In runner-up position was

Pernilla Karlsson with 33 points, who managed 16 on the front nine and 17 on the back nice but also had to adopt a penalty, but she still ended with 31 points to clinch second prize.  In third place Dina Lunina came in with 29 points.  Dina who only started golf just under a year ago has improved her game and handicap to 15.
